LAHORE, May 12 , Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi on Monday
said that Pakistan’s armed forces, media, and cyber front have
decisively defeated India, adding that “India can no longer even think
of attacking Pakistan.”
He was speaking to the media during his visit to the residence of Indian
drone attack victim Ali Haider in the Chungi Amar Sidhu area of Lahore.
Naqvi expressed condolences to the bereaved parents, Mohammad Aslam and
Shamim Bibi, and offered Fateha for the martyr. Ali Haider, the only
brother of eight sisters, was running a burger stall near Rawalpindi
Cricket Stadium when the drone strike occurred. He was 20 years old.
The minister also met and encouraged Haider’s injured cousin, Faisal
Manzoor, who, along with Taqeer Abbas, was wounded in the same incident.
Speaking to the media, Naqvi said, “The victory over India has been
earned through the blood of our martyrs. India will now think a hundred
times before any misadventure.”
Answering a question about Indian dramas like Pahalgam in the future, he
criticised India’s media and entertainment (Bollywood) industry, calling
it an expert in drama-making and propaganda.
Responding to a question about cyber threats in the country, the
minister said that strict action will be taken soon against those
involved in digital or cyber propaganda.
On the matter of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season X, Naqvi, who is
also the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), stated that a
final decision regarding the remaining matches will be announced by
tonight.
